If at all possible, try to separate your “home office” from the rest of your home. If you don’t have the luxury of a separate room, a room partition or screen can be just as helpful. This also serves as a visual cue to family that you’re working and shouldn’t be bothered.

Once you are ready to get things off the ground, your best asset will be your own self-discipline. When you work at home, distractions abound. A three hour lunch always sounds nice and errands can become very convenient distractions if you are not careful. You have to remember – even though you are your own supervisor – you still have to be diligent about your work. You will only hurt your own bottom line if you let things slide for too long.

That’s where you need to be different. That’s where you will shine. That’s what can potentially propel you to huge success and stardom within this industry. Giving someone hope is a great gift that you can do for someone as long as you don’t squash that and replace it with disappointment once they’ve signed the dotted line.

2) Create wealth for yourself, not your employer Your employer makes more money off you than what your employer pays you. That is called profit (your employer’s profit). If this does not describe your current work situation then either A). You work for a non-profit company, B). Your employer is about to fire you, or C). Your company is going out of business. In today’s economic condition many people are facing either an or B. Food for thought!!!

But while you may think the search can be frustrating, it isn’t all hopeless. There are legitimate home business opportunities out there and yes you can earn money from them. If you do want to start your own business don’t give up your search.

Remember; don’t try to prospect everyone for your business because unfortunately not everyone is ideally suited to be in business for themselves. It’s sad, but true. So in order to find the right people for your MLM Business simply focus on a target market. Look for people with a track record of success and possess good business skills.

The next thing you’ll want to do, if you are just starting out, is to organize your learning. For example, one week you might spend time learning AdWords, and the next week you can focus on article marketing tactics and strategies. Another week you can learn list building and how to set up an autoresponder and market to a list etc. Doing this is almost like following an organized ‘classroom schedule’ and it will make your learning much more progressive, so you are able to take action faster.
